Baby Tawny frog mouths for Wild Action!
01-Jan-2010
Look out for our new beautiful baby tawny frogmouths in our Wildlife
Work shops. Did you know that a tawny frogmouth is not an owl....but a
nightjar! What's the difference? Owls actually catch their food with
their sharp talons, whereas nightjars use their large gaping mouths to
catch insects on the wing. It's kind of like a huge net for catching
bugs!
